Hi everyone.
746watts (ollie) just joined. :-)
I have plans to stick a sucky diesel into a goldwing frame. I currently ride a 650 deauville & a 1300 pan.
As for building something i've stuck a 350ypvs motor into a honda vt250f frame making it a honda vt350ypvs. And a few years later stuck a zx9r b4 engine into a bandit 600 frame making it a suzuki banja 6/9.
So i feel the need to create something unique again and i reckon a diesel wing may tick the box. I have loads of research to do and my first task is to find out who would provide insurance here in ireland. There is no bike mot/nct for bikes here plus no government agency who would inspect the work and give it the okay. Currently a bike shop fills in paperwork for dept of transport stating bike shop performed the transplant and bike shop certified the work. Which i think puts unfair pressure on my local shop to okay the work i've done.
so if i can insure a diesel wing beast i will built it :-)
