Hi there!

Post by BHNZ »

Hello from New Zealand, the land of very few diesel bikes. My name is Brian, I ride a Kubota powered bike of my own design which I put on the road in 1994, you will find an article on this bike under the 'Private Production' section of the Diesel Bike website. I acquired a new 2007 Punsun 22HP engine last year, the start of a new project. Contact with members familiar with the vagaries of these engines would be most welcome as I have very little information on them. I have a couple of technical questions which I'll post in the appropriate forum in due course. Regards, Brian H.

Hi Raf - indeed I am responsible for that bike! (Which first appeared on the internet on your site 'dieselkrad' more than a few years ago. To this day I have no idea who sent the photo (from a local newspaper), how I found out that it was on the website was through the Kubota Lawn Tractor Owners Club in the UK contacting me for details about the bike, they had seen it on Stuarts website which he was just getting up and running at the time. The only way I could access Stuarts site at the time was to use the link from your site, things have certainly changed since then! To get a view of the left side of the bike, google Rusty Nuts Motorcycle Club, go to Rusty People, go to Brian (Diesel) Rusty, there are a couple of magazine articles reproduced there including photos of the left side of the bike. Cheers, Brian H. ( P.S. the left side looks better than the right side.)

Memories! That was when I'd thrown a pictures of diesel Enfields up to the peace65 address and just left them there for years :D How things have moved on! I checked the DieselBike front page the other day and it's up to 38k hits a month.
