Ever thought about making a name for yourself within the bike building community? Ever wondered what it might feel like to become the recognised 'Father' of a motorcycle design that would forever be attributed to you? This could very well happen if you were to design a good Diesel motorcycle and publish the plans to this website.
If your bike looks good, delivers both economy and speed, is reliable and made from readily available parts, you should stand a very good chance of winning out here. It could very well become the new yardstick by which all others are judged. If it ticks all the boxes then it would stand a very good chance of being taken up by others and duplicated the world over. Surely it's time for some of the builds based on older motorcycles and their harder to find components to make way for something perhaps a little more modern? Maybe a bigger capacity twin with shaft drive possibly? It's up to you!
When you've gone to so much trouble to produce that unique machine, why not produce a set of .PDF plans and share it with the world? You could even make money supplying key components! It's great to see so many unique motorcycles being built but it would be even better to see the best bikes taken up and built by many the world over.
Do give it some thought and feel free to drop me a line if you are prepared to publish your efforts. We'll do all we can to help
