Presumably the 4.3L Oldsmobile engine of GM fame developed under the engineering principle "lets stick an injector in the plug hole and see what happens". The resulting class action lawsuits have tainted public perceptions of diesels ever since. That said, kind of a cool bike. Except for the color. And engine choice. And weight. And tank.
