Re: Yet another Track for sale.

Which brings me to the question:

Are there any german Track owners active, or did one know one who is?
I would be glad to have contact. I need a Copy of the registration papers. Or at least a hint which TüV did the Import.

Re: 2012 *HAMM* International Diesel Motorbike Rally

Since 12 hours I have a new enddrive, after the major breakdown last year in december.
So I need to do some inspections, packing and cleanup and will hopefully be able to leave soon.

Hi Arnaud, I have a similar "problem" here, but with a Ruggerini RD210, that engine doesn't have a deko switch. I stopped thinking about that Issue at the moment when I figured out howto kickstart that thing savely without decompression. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXved__Dtkk The camer...

Re: longevity

Hi Naron, Is there anybody with more than 60000 km to that kind of engine? I would guess, no. Maybe the watercooled Kipors are working better but they are still so far untested. A Water cooling system makes a great advantage to the noise level, which is one of the critical parts for some conversatio...

Re: Punsun 20hp ..any good ?

Hey Sibbo,

Yes it should fit into an Enfield frame if you strip down the front tube. As you can see in the Video.

Those enfields are running the 836cc version of that engine which was a desaster.
The 812er seems to be more relieable.

I've never driven a motorbike with sidecart. Is'nt it quite boring in comparisson with 2 wheels? Driving a sidecar is different in comparisson with 2 wheels, not boring! :!: Anyway it will be very difficult to drive between the cars to cross a traffic jam with a trailer. Even my Cargo boxes are to ...

Ah, do you mean a second balancing of the whole system with flywheel and pistons and the clutch together? Re: Ruggerini Dnepr

What exactly do you mean with dynamical balanced? They should be balanced every time you modify them, with a new tire for example on the rear wheel or when you modify the flywheel. As far as I know, if no part of the wheel shows a tendency to rotate to the bottom it is well balanced. My flywheel rot...

The connection should be switched by the ignition key to prevent that the controller discharges the battery. B+ must also be connected ...

I don't want to mount anything to the sidecar which is important for the bike. Also there is no space in the sidecar because I want to keep it's cargo capacity. Fortunately I solved the battery/starter problem. The first thing I tried was to mount a second battery to the bike which unfortunately exp...

Hi there,

I have driven 40 km on the Autobahn. The only thing happened was an opened headset, if you mount your headset, make sure that the securing metal is bended over the screw...

I will now put my stuff together and leave in the next two hours!

I made a short rideout with my bike today, 9 km. I need to adjust the clutch and lost one of my cable crimping tools which I forgot on my sidecar before I left.

Re: 1974 800cc V twin in BMW R80 Frame.

On my bikes, I change the cables for the front break every 10000 km / 6250 miles, no matter how they look like.
All the other cables, especially the clutch are giong to be changed when they start to splice out.

It is, obviously, a problem if the engine makes to much torque to get killed by breaking.

The quick answer is: I don't. My Enfield was converted in Germany and not by myself. But I think it was some kind of shipping involved. In february I finaly sold the bike. If I would build an Enfield by myself I would use a Ruggerini MD190. Those engines seem to work as long as you don't name your b...

It is valid, I am the guy with the 3rd one, I don't trust those engines any more! I have heared that there are several factorys in China producing those engines, some of them may work. It is also strange that the engine has a Maximum of 22 HP but you are not allowed to use 22 HP over a longer period...
