the aixam uses a kubota twin z600 series, and is a good motor, the box however is a constantly variable doodah and is prone to explode i believe. would make a good donor for a bike, there are breakers that do reliants that also have aixam's, if your lucky you might get the sports version which is me...

do you not think that the xs's 90 box isnt up to the job?, the xs1100 has a fair old torque output, one of the links above is one of these fastened to a v12 jag engine, that'll pull a bit. its a small unit, however its sole purpose is to turn drive through 90, absorbed energy will be minimal with on...

thanks for that, the cb900 is something i have never seen before, i thought the blade just had one box, i dont think that is of use to me though, as i want to fit the thing on the wheel itself, so it has to be compact. the photo of the jag v12 is actually usefull, never seen as good a view as that b...

Yep certainly is, before any suggestions of just using a metro or similar front subframe and have fwd, this is not my plan. My design is to have 2 front wheels probably from a bedford rascal, as this uses a one piece susp/steering unit, and have a 2 side by side seat arrangement in between, then put...

hi chaps i'm a newbie. I'm planning a trike with with a kubota engine, and i know this is a question you lads have probably been asked a million times, however here goes. my design so far uses a kubota d902, and a metro gearbox mounted 'inline' with a welded diff, final drive going to a xs1100 trans...
